About Dr. Dhanvendran Ramar
Board-Certified Psychiatrist
Dr. Dhanvendran Ramar, MD, MRCPsych is a board-certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist with over 20 years of international clinical and academic experience. He is the founder of Access Psychiatry and is known for his thoughtful diagnostic approach, conservative use of medication, and culturally sensitive care.
Education & Training
He completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Creighton University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and his Psychiatry Residency at New York Medical College. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK).
Leadership & Experience
Dr. Ramar has held leadership roles including Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director, and psychiatric educator in hospital and academic settings across California, New York, Wisconsin, and the United Kingdom.
